To clone one of these trees, install git, and run:

git clone git://git.xilinx.com/ + project path.
For example, to clone the Xilinx Linux Kernel tree run:
git clone git://git.xilinx.com/linux-2.6-xlnx.git

Users should refer to http://xilinx.wikidot.com for more information about open source projects from Xilinx including reference system bit streams for Xilinx platforms supported by the kernel in this Git tree.

Users without Git installed may create a tar file by using the snapshot feature. Select the tree view of the repository (far right side) on this page, then select snapshot (near the top) and a gziped tar file will be created and downloaded.

For more information about git, see an overview, or the man pages. Please send any feedback, suggestions, patches or questions to git@xilinx.com.

The Kernel is licensed under the GPL version 2. All content on this site is provided AS IS. It is not supported in any way or form by the Xilinx Support Center. If you call the Xilinx Support center, they will not be able to help you. Users seeking technical support should use the open source mailing lists for the Linux kernel and u-boot. For those interested in a supported Linux distribution, please contact one of the many partner companies at http://www.xilinx.com/ise/embedded/epartners/listing.htm.
